Using a VPN on BetFury: what its terms say happens
BetFury's binding terms state no penalty for using a VPN. That is a finding about the document, not a permission, and the territory list still applies.
What happens if you use a VPN on BetFury?
BetFury's terms state no penalty for using a VPN, which is a finding about the document and not a permission. Its terms name 23 restricted countries in full. That list is open-ended. 12 of 24 operators on the register reserve a claim on the money. This page does not explain how to use a VPN.

This page does not recommend using a VPN and does not explain how to use one. It sets out what BetFury's own contract says happens to a player who does.
The clause, as the terms write it
The location clause, verbatim, from the document BetFury publishes as binding. The penalties in the next table come from the VPN clause sweep, read 2026-09-22, which follows the clause into the remedy sections it points to.
not disclosed The terms read on 2026-09-22 contain no clause that names a VPN, proxy or other way of masking location.
The full terms were retrieved and searched. The words VPN, proxy, Tor, anonymise, mask, conceal, spoof and falsify do not appear anywhere in the document. Section 4, Restricted use, lists nine prohibited uses and none concerns location. The restricted-jurisdiction provision at clause 3.3 is a bare warranty, 'By using the Website you confirm you are not a resident in a Restricted Jurisdiction', with no stated consequence for breaching it and no reference to any tool. BetFury's general breach clause 25.1 allows suspension or termination for breach of 'any material term', and clause 6.3 allows it to 'cancel and/or void any of your bets and withhold any money in your account (including the deposit)' where an account is closed for non-compliance, but neither is tied to location or to any masking tool. No VPN-specific penalty is stated.
What the terms say can happen
Each penalty in the register's vocabulary, and whether BetFury's terms reserve it for a player found masking location or playing from a restricted territory.
| Penalty | In the terms | What it means for the player |
|---|---|---|
| balance forfeited | Not stated | The operator can keep the money in the account, winnings included. |
| deposit forfeited | Not stated | The deposit itself can be kept, not only what was won with it. |
| account closed | Not stated | The account can be shut, and what is paid out of it is then the operator's decision. |
| bets voided | Not stated | Settled bets can be cancelled, which removes the winnings on them. |
| withdrawal refused | Not stated | A cash-out request can be held or turned down. |
| identity documents demanded | Not stated | Identity and address documents can be demanded before anything is paid. |
Where the terms say you cannot play
BetFury's terms name 23 countries in full as restricted. The list is open-ended, so a country missing from it is not a country the terms allow. The list, country by country, is on the BetFury restricted countries page.
What this means in practice
No penalty is written into the terms for the tool itself. The territory list still applies, and a player in a restricted country is in breach of it with or without a VPN.
Identity documents carry a home address, so a residence in a restricted country can come to light whenever BetFury asks for them. Its KYC terms are classed as discretionary; the clause is on the KYC page.
A complaint about confiscated funds goes to the operator first and then, where a route exists, to the licensing authority. Both read the same contract, and the player accepted the territory clause on sign-up. What a licence issued in Curacao gives a player with a complaint is set out on the Curacao licence page.
Where play needs a local licence
In the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, the United States, France, Spain, Italy, Denmark, Sweden, Belgium, Portugal, Australia and Canada (Ontario), online casino play needs a licence issued in that country, and no operator on this register holds one. For those countries the register publishes the legal position and the helpline, not a ranking. A VPN does not change which law applies to the player. Each country's position is on the map.
