What actually reaches a crypto casino

9 of 24 operators covered · $3.63bn in deposits · 4,579,735 deposits · source Tanzanite · retrieved 2026-09-22

Every operator in this market claims scale and none of them publish a number. On chain, some of it is visible: money moving into a casino’s deposit addresses is a public fact, and Tanzanite reads it. Over the last month the 9 operators on this register that they track took $3.63bn between them, across 4,579,735 separate deposits.

Whose number this is

Tanzanite’s, not ours. We have identified no payout wallet for any operator on this register, so we cannot measure anything on chain ourselves and we do not pretend to. These figures were read once, on 2026-09-22, from their published deposit volume page, and they are excluded from our payout score. The one column below that is ours is the average deposit, which is their volume divided by their deposit count. The full terms of the borrowing.

Four things this shows

1. One operator is most of the market

Stake alone accounts for 62.5 per cent of every dollar deposited across these 9 sites.

Stake took $2.27bn to the next operator’s $486m. Concentration on that scale is worth knowing before reading any comparison of these sites as peers, because on the only measure that is publicly verifiable they are not peers. It also means a single operator’s payment problem would be most of this market’s payment problem.

2. The average deposit tells you who a site is for

The average deposit at Sportsbet.io is $6,194. At Flush it is $208, about 30 times smaller.

Two sites can report similar volume and be running entirely different businesses. Divide the money by the number of deposits and the difference is immediate: Sportsbet.io takes 14,724 deposits to reach $91.2m, while Flush takes 447 to reach $93.0k. A site whose volume rests on a small number of very large deposits has a different exposure, a different KYC posture and a different reason to care about one player’s withdrawal than a site with hundreds of thousands of small ones. Neither is better. They are not the same product.

3. The direction of travel is not uniform

6 of these 9 operators grew against the previous month and 3 shrank. BetFury is up +156.2%; Cloudbet is down 11.7 per cent.

Month-on-month movement in a market this volatile is not a verdict on anybody, and a single month is a short window. It is worth reading next to the rest of an operator’s entry rather than on its own: deposits rising while the licence register says the term has lapsed is a different fact from deposits rising on a confirmed licence.

4. Most of the register is invisible here

15 of the 24 operators on this register have no figure at all: Bets.io, Bitcasino, Coins.game, Duelbits, FortuneJack, Jackbit, Lucky Block, mBit, Metaspins, Rakebit, Rollbit, Thunderpick, Vave, Wild.io and Winz.io.

Tanzanite tracks what it has identified deposit addresses for, and it does not cover those 15. Their entries say so instead of leaving the space blank, because an empty cell reads as a zero and a zero here would be a false statement about a site that may be perfectly busy. The absence is in our coverage and in theirs, not in the operator.

What this number is not

It is money arriving, not money wagered. A player who deposits once and plays for a month counts once. It is also not money leaving: the question a reader of this register most wants answered on chain, whether a casino pays out as readily as it takes in, needs the payout wallet, and no payout wallet has been identified for any operator here.

Fiat deposits, deposits in coins or on chains outside that list, deposits to addresses Tanzanite has not identified, internal transfers, bonus credit, and every bet placed with money already on the site. It is money arriving, not money wagered, and it is not a measure of how much an operator holds or pays out. Ten three-day buckets. The final bucket was still open on the day we retrieved this, so the total is a running one, not a closed month.

Tanzanite's own terms state that its on-chain and deposit analytics "may be delayed, incomplete, mislabeled, or affected by data-source limitations". See their terms. Figures retrieved 2026-09-22 for Tanzanite's one-month timeframe, 10 buckets of 3 days from 2026-08-25. Source: Tanzanite.
