Where crypto casino deposits come from, and what exchange and DEX terms say about gambling
Can you send crypto from an exchange to a casino?
Three of the twelve centralised exchanges on the register prohibit gambling transfers outright, with no exception for a licensed casino: OKX, Bitget and MEXC. Five restrict only unlawful, unregulated or illegal gambling, three say nothing about gambling at all, and one could not be read. None of the fifteen DEX, aggregator and in-wallet swap interfaces read has a gambling clause.

Three of the twelve centralised exchanges on the register prohibit gambling transfers outright, with no exception for a licensed casino: OKX, Bitget and MEXC. Five restrict only unlawful, unregulated or illegal gambling, three say nothing about gambling at all, and one could not be read. On the decentralised side the answer is simpler: none of the fifteen DEX, aggregator and in-wallet swap interfaces read has a gambling clause.
Every figure below comes from the binding terms, retrieved on 28 September 2026, and each exchange's clause is quoted in full on its register entry. The DEX side is at the DEX register.
Can you send crypto from an exchange to a casino?
On OKX, Bitget and MEXC, the terms say no. OKX puts gambling on its list of Prohibited Businesses in clause 3.1 and reserves the right to monitor your transactions to enforce it:
(j) gambling activities, including but not limited to sports betting, casino games, horse racing, dog racing, lotteries, games of chance, games of skill that may be classified as gambling (i.e., poker), or other activities or businesses that facilitate the above, or that we consider similar in nature at our absolute and sole discretion;
The same document lets OKX "block transactions or freeze your funds immediately without notice" where it suspects an account is associated with a Prohibited Business. Bitget's Terms of Use, clause 11.1(v), bar using the services "to conduct or participate in lotteries, gambling activities" and "internet gaming". MEXC's User Agreement lists "casino games" and "games of chance" among its prohibited businesses. None of the three carves out a licensed operator, so the licence of the casino you are funding does not change the answer. See the entries for OKX, Bitget and MEXC.
Does Coinbase allow gambling transactions?
Coinbase restricts unlawful gambling, not gambling as such. The Prohibited Use Policy, which the User Agreement incorporates, lists "Unlawful Gambling" and limits it to games of chance "that are not sanctioned by a governmental body or regulatory authority". The User Agreement lets Coinbase "refuse to process, or to cancel, correct, clawback, or reverse" a transfer it suspects relates to a Prohibited Use. Whether a deposit to a given casino is caught turns on that casino's licence and on where the player is. The same policy puts "Games of Skill" on the list that needs Coinbase's written consent. The entry is at Coinbase.
Kraken, KuCoin and Bitstamp sit in the same group. Kraken's Global Terms restrict "illegal gambling activities". Bitstamp lists "illegal gambling operations" as a ground for suspension. KuCoin's Article 41(3) restricts "providing gambling information or inducing in any manner any other person to engage in gambling", which targets promotion rather than a player's own deposit.
Gate is the outlier in the restricting group. Its list prohibits "Unregulated casino/online betting/gambling platform, lotteries, or other high-risk betting enterprises", does not define regulated, and attaches the heaviest stated sanction in the register:
If we reasonably suspect that you have engaged in, attempted to engage in, or assisted others in engaging in any activity described in the Prohibited Use list, we reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to investigate, suspend or terminate your access to the Services, freeze or confiscate funds, and report suspected activity to relevant authorities.
Does Binance allow gambling?
Binance's documents do not say. The Terms of Use, effective 21 July 2026, and the separate Prohibited Use Policy, last updated 5 January 2026, were both searched and neither contains the words gambling, casino, betting or lottery. Crypto.com Exchange's terms and HTX's User Agreement are silent in the same way. Silence is not permission: each document prohibits unlawful use in general terms, and each lets the exchange suspend an account with immediate effect. It means the player cannot tell from the contract where the line is. See Binance, Crypto.com Exchange and HTX.

Do DEXes block gambling deposits?
No DEX interface on the register addresses gambling. Two, Uniswap and 1inch, disclose that they screen wallet addresses with third-party analytics and block flagged ones. Uniswap Labs lists what it blocks for: sanctions, terrorism financing, hacked or stolen funds, ransomware, human trafficking and child sexual abuse material. Gambling is not on the list. The other thirteen describe no screening, which is a statement about their terms rather than their practice.
What the DEX terms do contain is geography. Jupiter, Raydium and deBridge bar United States users by name, and Jupiter and deBridge prohibit using a VPN to get round it. PancakeSwap is the one interface with gambling in it, and it is its own: the documentation lists audits of a PancakeSwap Lottery and a Prediction product.
Which network should a deposit travel on?
The network is decided by the exchange before the DEX is involved. Of the ten exchanges whose USDT withdrawal list could be read, eight withdraw on Tron. Coinbase and Crypto.com Exchange list no Tron network for USDT at all, so a casino that only accepts TRC-20 cannot be funded directly from either. The per-chain view of which exchanges withdraw onto a chain and which DEXes swap on it is at the DEX register. How the casinos themselves treat the account once the deposit lands is covered in what a no-KYC casino's terms say and on the casino register.
