Is Trezor (Trezor Suite) safe? What its own terms say
Is Trezor Suite safe to use for casino deposits?
Trezor Suite's terms disclaim custody and access to your keys, so by their account only you can sign a deposit. Its terms name no gambling rule (trezor.io, read 2026-10-07), which is an absence, not a permission. Contracting party: Trezor Company s.r.o. 6 points are not verified. 3 primary-source incidents are recorded. Liability capped at a stated cap.

1. What this means for you
Consequences first, in the conditional, each one produced by a clause in a document Trezor (Trezor Suite) publishes itself. Every line links to that clause, quoted in full and dated. None of them is a claim that Trezor (Trezor Suite) can move your coins on chain: the terms disclaim that power and this register takes them at their word on it.
- You are contracting with someone you cannot name if you use the swap, the on-ramp or the staking inside the app 3 sub-service clauses are recorded across 3 kinds of service, and most of the counterparties are identified in the terms only as a third party.
- You can recover no more than a stated cap if Trezor (Trezor Suite) is liable to you at all The aggregate liability clause caps every claim you could bring, whatever the size of the balance the software was holding the keys to.
2. What this entry records, and what it does not
This register publishes no number for a wallet. The payout score on the casino register has five defined components and a published arithmetic; no equivalent instrument exists here. What follows is a field-by-field account of what was read, where and when.

3. What we could not verify
Every entry carries this section. The gaps are published because a reader deserves the limits of the check as well as its results.
- The current Trezor Suite Services by Invity Terms of Use. The version at https://trezor.io/documents/terms_of_use_trezor_suite_services_by_invity.pdf (1 October 2022) returned 404; the 1 March 2022 version at data.trezor.io was read instead and may be superseded. Neither names the end Providers, and the 1 March 2022 version contains no KYC, refusal or freeze clause.
- Whether the Suite terms contain any suspension, termination or sanctions clause. The retrieval found none; a full manual read of the PDF was not possible with the tools used.
- What Trezor's own backend (Blockbook) servers receive, such as IP address and xpub, and whether Tor routing changes that. The privacy policy (last updated 16 March 2026) does not address it.
- Whether CoinJoin remains available in Trezor Suite. It is not mentioned in the Suite terms.
- Whether BNB Smart Chain, Base, Polygon and TON are natively supported in Suite.

4. Who you are contracting with
The binding document names a company and states where it is registered or which law governs. The detail and the clause are below.
| Named counterparty | Trezor Company s.r.o.source · retrieved 2026-10-07 |
|---|---|
| Jurisdiction | Czech Republic. The Suite terms give the company identification number 024 40 032 and a registered office in Prague 8, select Czech law and the Czech courts, in particular the District Court for Prague 8. |
| Relationships disclosed | The Suite terms say third-party services are facilitated by their respective Provider and name none. A separate document, Trezor Suite Services by Invity Terms of Use (version last updated 1 March 2022), names Invity.io s.r.o., Id. No. 083 88 032, as the intermediary for buy, sell and exchange, with the same registered office as Trezor Company s.r.o. (Kundratka 2359/17a, Prague 8). The privacy policy names processors including AWS, Google Cloud, Freshworks (Freshdesk), Ada Support, Brevo (Sendinblue), Confirmo and Adyen. |

5. The custody claim, and what the binding document says
What Trezor (Trezor Suite) says in the place a user reads, against what it says in the place that binds a user.
As a non-custodial wallet, Trezor ensures only you hold the keys to your crypto.trezor.io · 2026-10-07
You acknowledge that any private keys associated with your wallet are generated locally on your Device (they are derived from your wallet backup and passphrase, if applicable) and are never transmitted to Suite or anywhere else outside the Device.trezor.io · 2026-10-07
Your keys stay in Trezor, never on the internet.trezor.io
Hardware wallet. The device holds the keys. The binding document for the companion app is the Trezor Suite Terms of Use. The Suite terms do not use the word non-custodial and contain no sentence stating in terms that Trezor does not store or have access to keys; they state where keys are generated and that they never leave the device. The Product Terms of Use for the device itself say the same of the wallet backup and private keys.
6. Recovery, and where the terms and the marketing differ
| Cloud or hosted backup offered | no |
|---|---|
| What is stored | Nothing by Trezor, by the terms. The wallet backup is generated on the device and kept by the user. |
| Where | On the Trezor device and in the user's own copy of the wallet backup. |
| Changes the custody position | no |
Lose the device, not the coins. Use your backup to restore your wallet on any Trezor.trezor.io
You acknowledge that any private keys associated with your wallet are generated locally on your Device (they are derived from your wallet backup and passphrase, if applicable) and are never transmitted to Suite or anywhere else outside the Device.trezor.io
No difference found. The terms, the product terms and the marketing all place the keys and backup with the user and the device. The Suite terms contain no clause on suspending or terminating access, on sanctions, or on what Trezor's backend servers see, so those points could not be compared.
7. The app is not the wallet
3 clauses, each one a place where the product routes a user to a counterparty the user never contracts with by name, under terms the user never opens. The count is of recorded clauses and not of distinct companies: two entries can name the same counterparty and each still be a separate thing the terms permit.
all Third-party services are facilitated by their respective Provider and we solely advertise and provide you access to the Third-party services. We never provide Third-party services directly to you.trezor.io
cryptocurrency purchase, sale and exchange services, staking and stablecoin yieldtrezor.io
You carry out any respective transactions on your own solely based on a legal relationship with the respective Providers.data.trezor.io
8. Withdrawing your access to the interface
Your keys are yours. The software you reach them through is licensed, and the licence can be withdrawn. 0 clauses are recorded on this point.
9. Who can block an address
Trezor (Trezor Suite) claims no power to block an address in the documents read. No clause in the documents read discloses that another party in the stack can freeze or blacklist an address either. That is an absence of disclosure, not a guarantee that no such party exists.
10. What the terms say about gambling
Position recorded: not disclosed. No clause naming gambling, betting, casinos or wagering was found in the documents read. That is an absence in the documents, not a permission, and the general prohibition on unlawful use still applies.
The card side of the same question is on the card register, and the casino side on KYC on withdrawal.
11. Chains it names
Of the eight chains this register filters on, Trezor (Trezor Suite) names 4: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Tron. Not named on the pages read: TON, BNB Chain, Base, Polygon. Only networks named as natively supported in Trezor Suite on the Trezor support page are listed. Trezor's supported-coins page discusses BNB Smart Chain tokens but the native-support sentence does not name it, so it is not listed. TON, Base and Polygon were not confirmed. Trezor states that further coins can be held on the device through third-party wallet apps; those are not counted.
Native support of Bitcoin, Ethereum (and all ERC-20 tokens), Solana, Tron, Cardano, Litecoin, Ethereum Classic, XRP, Dogecoin, and other assets makes it easy to trade directly in the Trezor Suite application on both desktop and web.trezor.io
12. Liability, amendment, arbitration and where you can use it
The aggregate liability clause caps every claim you could bring at a stated cap, whatever the balance involved. It is the clause that decides what the rest of the document is worth.
Our collective liability to you, arising out of or in connection with your access and use or inability to access and use of Suite, shall not exceed in aggregate the fees you have paid us.trezor.io
Suite itself is free to download, so for most users the cap equals zero. The Product Terms cap device liability at the purchase price.
the maximum liability from the use of the Device shall be limited to the amount paid by you as a Device purchase price.trezor.io
If you continue to use Suite after you have learned of any changes or amendments hereto, you are deemed to have accepted these amendments and changes.trezor.io
You agree that the laws of the Czech Republic, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will govern these Suite Terms of Use and any dispute of any sort that might arise between you and Trezor Company in connection therewith.trezor.io
Court jurisdiction, not arbitration: the Czech courts, in particular the District Court for Prague 8.
13. Public record
Matters of public record, taken from primary sources and stated with them. Both of the records below were disclosed by the provider itself or entered in a public vulnerability register, rather than found in the press.
Unauthorised access to the third-party support ticketing portal Trezor uses. Trezor stated contact details (names and email addresses) of up to 66,000 people who had contacted Trezor Support since December 2021 were potentially exposed, and that no user funds were compromised through the incident.
unauthorized access to the third-party support ticketing portal we use
A data breach at ShipMonk, one of Trezor's shipping providers, exposed customer order data: full names, email addresses, phone numbers and shipping addresses. Trezor counts 80,689 customers affected, including about 67,000 US customers from November 2019 to August 2021, and states no Trezor system, product or service was affected.
ShipMonk, one of Trezor's shipping providers, has experienced a data breach that exposed sensitive customer order data.
An unauthorised actor used Trezor's account at Brevo, its third-party email provider, to send emails to Trezor's marketing list; Trezor states 347,149 marketing email contacts were affected and no other Trezor system was touched. Funds are at risk only where a recipient entered a wallet backup into the malicious app the emails promoted.
An unauthorized actor gained access to Brevo's system and used it to send emails from various customer accounts, including Trezor's.
14. Who should avoid Trezor (Trezor Suite)
Anyone who needs a named party to be answerable for a loss. The liability position is a stated cap, and the terms disclaim responsibility for every third-party service the app routes you into.
