The best crypto casinos, ranked by evidence

Every other list with this title is sold. Positions are bought, and the site telling you which casino is safest is paid by the casino it puts first. This one is derived by a formula published in full, which never receives our commercial relationships, and the top 3 entries below currently pay us nothing at all.

Read this before you read the table

A high position here means an operator’s licence checks out in the issuing authority’s register and its marketing does not contradict its own binding terms. It does not mean we have taken money out. We have run zero withdrawal tests so far, which is why every score on this page rests on 3 of five components and is stated on each entry. The formula is here and you can recompute any score from the data on that operator’s page.

Score out of 100 from five weighted components. Components with no data are excluded from the denominator instead of counted as zero, so an operator is not punished for a measurement we have not made. Download the full dataset.

What every score on this page is built from

3 of the five scoring components are measurements we have not taken yet. 25 points of weight come from a withdrawal we perform ourselves and time, and 20 come from identifying an operator’s hot wallet and watching it settle. Neither has been run for any operator here. Those components are excluded from the denominator instead of being counted as zero, so the maximum is still 100 and an operator is not marked down for a measurement we have not made.

What is true is narrower. Every score on this page rests on 3 of five components, 55 points of weight out of the 100, which is why 24 of the 24 ranked entries are labelled low confidence. A score of 76 means 76 per cent of what we could check, not 76 per cent of what there is to know. The highest score currently on the register is 76.

This is the opposite of how most ranked lists work. Elsewhere a missing measurement quietly becomes a full mark, or the number is simply assigned to fit the commercial order. Here a gap stays a gap and shows as a hatched bar on the operator’s page, which is why the numbers look modest next to a site awarding four and a half stars to everyone it earns from.

What the top of the table actually earned

1. mBit

Scores 76 on 2 of five components. Licence confirmed in the issuing register. 4 contradictions documented. No commercial relationship with this operator. Full entry.

2. Bitcasino

Scores 73 on 2 of five components. Licence confirmed in the issuing register. 5 contradictions documented. No commercial relationship with this operator. Full entry.

3. Roobet

Scores 69 on 3 of five components. Licence confirmed in the issuing register. 6 contradictions documented. No commercial relationship with this operator. Full entry.

Where the licence could not be confirmed

6 operators here advertise a licence we could not confirm in a register we can actually read. They still carry a score, because the other components have data, but they lose the single heaviest one and it shows in the number. That is recorded as unconfirmed and not absent, because absence of confirmation is not evidence of absence. In one case an operator’s own homepage points machine readers at a Curacao register in which neither the operator nor its stated company appears, while its binding terms claim an Anjouan licence.

How to judge a crypto casino without taking our word for it

The four checks below are the ones that decide whether you get paid, and all four are things you can do yourself in about ten minutes. We would rather you ran them than trusted a ranking, including this one.

Open the licence register, not the footer seal. An operator prints a licence number at the bottom of its homepage and often links a certificate page that says Active. Search that number in the issuing authority’s own published register instead. On this register 7 operators present a Curacao licence the authority’s own registry records as already ended. For 3 of those 7, the same authority’s certificate portal simultaneously shows the licence as Active. The counts differ because they are two different findings.

Read the withdrawal clause, not the withdrawal marketing. Almost every operator here advertises instant or near-instant payouts. Their binding terms variously allow seven days, impose wagering before a withdrawal is accepted, require blockchain confirmations before a request can even be made, or set no timeframe whatsoever. The ones whose own terms back the claim are listed here.

Check where the identity check actually falls. No-KYC at signup is not no-KYC at withdrawal, and neither is no-KYC on a large win. Several operators marketing anonymous play require documents before releasing money, and one collects identity details before issuing a deposit address at all. Which operators genuinely qualify.

Look for the bonus terms before you take the bonus. One operator on this register advertises deposit bonuses up to 120 percent from a page whose bonus terms link serves an unrelated help article, so no binding terms exist anywhere. Another publishes a section headed no wagering requirements on any of our rewards and imposes forty times wagering one section later.

What we found across all 24 operators

112 contradictions between marketing and binding documents, of which 38 are high severity. Not one of the 24 operators reviewed so far is free of them, which is why no entry on this page carries our verified status and why the honest headline is that this category does not currently contain a casino we would call safe without qualification.

If that reads as unhelpful, consider the alternative on offer. Every competing page for this search term names a winner, and in most cases the winner is whoever pays the highest revenue share. A list that says the evidence is thin, and shows you the evidence, is more useful than a confident answer that was bought. Every contradiction we have documented, with both sources cited, is public. So is who pays us.

The same ranking, built from the same operator files, written for ten markets in their own language and against their own regulator. Nothing is reordered for a market and no operator appears on one that is missing from another.
